This application allows you to discover, independently, the mining museum of Briançon. This ethno-Geological Museum, an exhibition on the very original peasant mines Briançon, models of mines and mining objects, an exhibition on the geology of the coalfields, showcases both fossil and geological games.
It was conducted by an association, the Geological and Mining Company of Briançon, in collaboration with a company, Briançon IT Services and was funded by the European project interfrontalier France-Italy ALCOTRA to the creation of a "geopark" which meets Communities of Communes Country Briançon, Hautes Susa Valleys and Valleys Vaud (Italy) and Pays de Haute Maurienne Maurienne.
The explanations are given by audio files associated with images. For the hearing impaired, the texts of these audio files can be displayed. An option for "more" is proposed and access to the Geopark and Geological Society website and Mining of Briançon is possible for smarpthones who have that opportunity. The "old mines production" of this site, allows a virtual tour of the museum.
