``Measurer'' is something familiar to human beings since ancient times. . .

 In modern times, many people have smartphones, and it is considered "convenient" to always have a "rule" at hand. developed.


・ Ruler: Measure the length/distance with the edge of the smartphone as 0 distance
· Switching between millimeters and inches, simultaneous measurement of both ends is possible
・It is possible to measure symmetrical dimensions with the upper center as zero
 ・The bars on both ends can be moved freely/equally-spaced locked/zero-locked
・ Ruler: Measure length and width, draw a line of a certain length
・ Operation like a vernier caliper: Measure width, hole diameter, etc. with two scales
・ Compass: Check the direction and angle when placed horizontally
· Angle meter: measures the angle when the smartphone is tilted
・Level: Highlights whether the smartphone is horizontal when placed horizontally
・Circular ruler: Check the size of the diameter (Φ) that is often used


The biggest point of this app is that it is a "measure", and it is characterized by how it is used with the edge (top) of the smartphone body as zero.
Although it can be used as a ruler, it is developed with the major premise that it can be used as a "measurer" with a bezel-less scale.

 Starting from the top of the screen display, you can measure the length of the object with the scale inside the smartphone.
· Measure as a general ruler
· Draw a line of appropriate length as a ruler

With one button, you can switch to a scale with the top edge of the smartphone as zero, and you can easily measure the distance by placing the edge at the zero position and hitting it against a wall.
・ Distance from walls and objects
· Measurement of thickness/height of objects (using fingers, nails, splints)
・Measurement of depth (if the smartphone fits)

Using two scales on the left and right, you can measure two things at the same time, or the distance between two things.
· Place the object on the display and measure the diameter, inner diameter of the hole, and outer dimension
· Measuring the gap and pitch between two objects
・Measurement of the thickness and width of objects

You can use it as a level and at the same time measure the distance of objects.
・Confirmation of water level and water flow direction
· Confirmation of the vertical direction to the ground
・Check slopes and roof slopes
· Measurement of the length of the object in the above state

It can also be used as a compass, and can also be used to measure distances on maps.
・ Calculate the distance to a given direction on a map or nautical chart
・Use the yaw angle of the compass to slide the smartphone and check the parallel lines

*The accuracy and error of each sensor depends on the smartphone itself.

Example of use:
・If the size of the product you want is not listed on the sales floor, you can quickly measure it with your smartphone.
・In sewing, etc., measure the size of the button, the distance between the holes, etc. by placing the button on the smartphone and using a vernier caliper.
· Quickly measure the pitch of the keyboard as the distance between two points in the actual size
· Measurement of dimensions related to tools such as holes, tape width, etc., as well as the length of screws and nails (both at hand and at the sales floor)
・If the bumper of the car has a minimum ground clearance of 9 cm or more, place the top of the smartphone down on the ground and measure upside down to the bumper lip.
· Measure the inner height of drawers and the height of steps on the table by placing the edge of the smartphone upside down.
· On the map aligned with the northeast direction, measure the length and calculate the straight line distance, or draw a line of the assumed length
· Check the horizontality of the machined model for distortion, etc., and measure the angle of inclination




 Be sure to make the following settings at the initial start-up or when you press the setting button.
This setting is necessary for the application to correctly recognize the screen size and upper bezel (frame part) of your smartphone.
 The scale's actual scale can be easily set with a single international standard (ID-1) card. For fine adjustments and checks, please check and adjust using a ruler you have on hand.
Examples of main cards:
・ Driver's license, insurance card (card), ・ I number card
・Credit card, cash card, transportation IC card
・Other points cards, telephone cards, etc.
*If the width of the smartphone screen is larger than the width of the card, use the [Enlarge] button, etc., and apply an actual ruler to make adjustments.

1. With the setting screen open, place an appropriate international standard card on the smartphone screen.

2. If the card image displayed on the screen seems to be completely hidden, operate the [green circle] in advance, enlarge it, and then place it on the screen again.

3. Place the card so that it is at the top edge of the smartphone (it is easier if you put it against a wall, object, finger, etc.) and in the center of the left and right sides.

4. [Scale magnification adjustment (mm)] Move the [green circle] on the left and right of the setting screen to adjust so that the green line appears on the edge of the card (so that the orange screen card figure disappears completely).

5. [Upper bezel alignment (negative offset)] Slide the [green circle] in the center of the setting screen up and down and adjust in the same way as in 4.

6. Press the [Set] button and press "Yes" in the confirmation dialog to save the settings.

With the above settings, the scale and bezel are set with little error. If there seems to be an error in the actual measurement value with a hand-held ruler, please adjust using the hand-held ruler on the setting screen.
Point: If it is difficult to finely operate with the [green circle], you can finely adjust the magnification with the [zoom in] and [zoom out] buttons, and finely adjust the bezel with [up] and [down].

   →Switch the background to white.

〔light〕
   → Set the backlight to the maximum brightness.

   →Switch to the setting screen.

[Power icon]
   →Exit the app.

・Inch switching function
  →Tap the red or blue unit to switch the scale to mm⇔inch.

· Red/blue bar lock function
  →You can fix the red and blue bars by tapping the cross icon between the red and blue bars.
There are three types of switching (free movement → fixed equal interval → fixed zero interval).

[Free movement] *Cross translucent
    The red and blue bars are in the unlocked state (operation as usual).

[Equal spacing fixed] *Vertical emphasis of cross
    Fix the current red and blue bar spacing.

   [Fixed zero interval] *Horizontal emphasis of the cross
    Fix the red and blue bars in the same vertical position.
    If you slide the red or blue bar in a fixed state, the bar on one side will be fixed in the same vertical position.






Q. The compass of the compass and the roll and pitch of the goniometer have stopped working.

A.This is a phenomenon that occurs when the OS (Android) does not recognize the sensor device.
Please check if other apps such as Maps are not recognizing it.
Also, if you move it with one hand while twisting it in a "horizontal figure 8 (∞)" for about 10 seconds, the OS will recognize the sensor, so please try it.
*If the sensor itself is not installed or is out of order, it will not work.



Q.The scale is no longer displayed when returning from another app.

A. Completely quit "Monomono" and then try to start it again.



Q.When I tap it, the status bar is displayed, and it seems that the tap position and the display position of the red and blue measures are shifted by the width of the status bar.

A. Depending on the model, the status bar may or may not be displayed.
  Positions may be aligned by correction.
  Tap "Y origin correction (~): ON" at the bottom of the [Settings] screen to change it.



Q.When I put an object on my smartphone and measure it, the sensor is hidden and it's hard to see.

A. Please press the [Light] button to ON (green letters) and set the display to maximum brightness.
Also, please try pressing the [White] button for the background during the daytime outdoors and the [Black] background for the nighttime or in a dark place.



Q.The red and blue major bars are hidden and can no longer be moved.

A. Try "double-tapping" an appropriate place on each scale on the left and right.
  The bar will move to the place where you double-tapped.
  This method is also useful as a method of calling out to the outside of the object when the red and blue bars are temporarily hidden under the object to be measured on the screen.
