About Quick-Mesh: Kernel

QMSH for Android - procedural power in your pocket.

This application is a stand-alone version of the quick-mesh procedural modelling kernel for use with a third-party text-editor.

It provides a lightweight wrapper to command-line invocation of the kernel for Android devices.

Note: this app does NOT support interactive 3D editing.

Note: this app does NOT include script-editing tools or mesh-visualisation tools.

Note: if you use a text-editor that supports syntax-highlighting - you can select C, C++ or Java settings for the QMSH Grammar.

SUMMARY OF KEY FEATURES

Supported Input File-Formats: .qmsh

Supported Output-File-Formats: .obj, .off, .ply, .stl

Experimental Web-GL Outputs: .html, .json, .gltf, .glb

Note: this program is targeted at advanced users of QMSH. If you are new to procedural modelling or programming you may find it easier to begin with the Quick-Mesh Editor or Quick-Mesh Visual.

Note: this app requires permission to read and write device storage in order to load input scripts and export 3D mesh. On newer Android devices this permission is no longer granted automatically upon install and must be explicitly granted by a user either via an in-app request or through app settings. If this application fails to load scripts or export mesh - it is because the storage permission has not been granted. To fix this - head to app-settings and enable storage access for this app.
