AproGIP

APROGIP is a professional associative entity whose scope is the Autonomous Community of Aragon, non-profit and independent associations, groups or political parties whose members are individuals or entities linked to the production of vegetables and interested in sustainable use of products pesticides. In its creation it has been decisive the entry into force of legislation will significantly affect the process of production of plants for human and animal consumption so as to be extremely careful to avoid any negative impacts on health consumer and the environment, also assuming that there will be observed that production is not only sustainable but also profitable.

In September 2012 it was published Royal Decree 1311/2012, establishing a framework for sustainable use of plant protection products. Given the complexity of the objectives in this Royal Decree it was expected adoption by the competent authorities of a National Action Plan (NAP) for their achievement, plan which was approved in November the same year. The PAN contains a comprehensive set of measures (29) which can be classified in principle on promotion measures and control measures and inspection of execution in the Autonomous Community of Aragon is responsible for the Department of Agriculture, Livestock and Environment through the Directorate General of Food and Agribusiness Development and the Center for Health and Plant Certification

Moreover, recently it approved Rural Development Regulation on support for rural development by the EAFRD.
