Verde de la Jara oil is the new premium oil brand from Cooperativa San Sebastián de Belvís, Toledo.
With it, the aim is to project the oil from the La Jara area, in the Montes de Toledo, to consumers in the province and throughout Castilla-La Mancha, highlighting the fact that one of the best oils in the world, by variety and treatment, is very close to them and deserves to enter their homes.
There are two fundamental aspects that distinguish it:
- The cornicabra variety, native to Toledo, which is highly valued among specialists for its flavor and qualities
- The ecological cultivation of olive trees, connecting with one of the main trends among consumers and guaranteeing the agricultural purity of the olives that are processed.
In principle, Verde la Jara will be marketed in two lines:
1. Blue line, Denomination of Origin Montes de Toledo, in accordance with the quality requirements of this body
2. Color Line, Ecological / Organic for oil from olives grown according to ecological regulations
In both cases the variety used is cornicabra.
