Mobile application developed on the initiative of AMCB aimed at monitoring issues related to climate change, in particular in the Municipalities of Almeida, Belmonte, Celorico da Beira, Covilhã, Figueira de Castelo Rodrigo, Fornos de Algodres, Fundão, Gouveia, Guarda, Manteigas, Mêda, Penamacor, Pinhel, Sabugal, Seia and Trancoso. The application will become a digital infrastructure, so that citizens can access this information more directly, as well as receive alerts about threats to the region in relation to climate change and provide citizens with a direct channel of communication, according to the risks and vulnerability of the region, incorporating two aspects:
• Awareness aspect, where each of the risks is explained and their effects are identified.
• Alerts to the community, with the development of Adaptation/prevention measures, where it is indicated the behavior to adopt to mitigate the effects of risks.
In this way, the mobile application will highlight 3 factors:
• Disclosure of risks and vulnerabilities, about the climate changes felt;
• Access to information on adaptive/preventive measures;
• Make known the weather conditions felt in the municipalities.
