Collie is one of the most beautiful dog breeds. It is distinguished by brilliant silky hair and a good look. The breed was bred to look after sheep on farms. Aggression and collies are incompatible concepts, however, wolves never attacked the farmlands guarded by these large dogs, as they were afraid of them. Initially, all representatives of the breed had a dark color. It is believed that their homeland is Scotland. The breed spread to Europe thanks to the nomadic Scottish tribes who came to England. Thanks to the selection, bright collies appeared, which significantly surpassed their ancestors in size and working potential. Despite the fact that the collie dog has a thick and long coat, it is not so difficult to take care of it: the pet needs to be combed regularly, at least 2 times a week, and bathed as necessary.
