The village is located in the Košice Basin, on the left bank of the Torysa River and the edge of the Slanské vrchy spurs. It is located in the northeastern part of the district of Košice - the neighborhood, near the D1 highway, which is connected to it by the Budimír intersection. Road III/3325 leads through the village, which connects to road I/20 at the intersection. Košice is 13 km southwest, Prešov 27 km north.
