This German-Uzbek electronic dictionary of twin formulas is valuable as the first work that was created in the system of "twin formulas" of the German-Uzbek language pair. It contains 1,000 twin formulas, each with an Uzbek translation. The dictionary is based on the scientific knowledge of linguists and lexicographical macro and microstructure principles. It can be used by students, masters and doctoral students as well as professors and lecturers in the teaching of lexicology, lexicography, translation studies and comparative linguistics.
