Kids Write Chinese

Kids Write Chinese (KWC) is a fun Chinese character tracing program designed to keep the kids engaged. It is designed for kids at age of 4 and under who are just starting to learn how to write characters. Young children, especially under the age of 5, easily lose interest and confidence in learning when facing complex characters. To avoid frustration while learning, the carefully chosen characters contain 5 strokes at most. A total of 50+ characters are included so it does not put too much pressure on kids. This app serves as a beginner's guide for kids who do not know how to use a pen or pencil. Through a game approach, Kids Write Chinese makes writing practice fun and easy. The app is customizable to fit your child's need, a favorite color to practice in and grid lines to help in tracing. Stroke order for both Simplified and Traditional Chinese are also available in the setting. The app supports both Mandarin and Cantonese.
