To get precise measurements, we recommend, before start using, make app calibration: settings → calibration (automatic or manual).
This application use the built-in microphone in your smartphone or tablet and results of measurements are shown in the chart.

Most Accurate!
Finally! A decibel meter app that’s accurate. This app allows you to calibrate it in your quietest room of your house and save the setting, giving better metered results. Other apps I tried were off by a lot. Some even 20 - 30 db off. Calibration is a must and this app offers that.
