The only advantage it had is lost now
It had an edge over traditional badges as there was the capability to enter and exit the garage without opening the window and just tapping on a button... it works as a physical rfid badge now and the worst part is the success rate is 1 in 4 attempts involving a lot of waving and touching the reader
