About MX HomePro
The MX HomePro™ mobile app for iOS devices sets URC® MX HomePro apart from other home control systems. One touch of an icon on your smartphone or tablet enables control of your entertainment plus smart home devices. Check your security system, turn on pre-set lights, start the music and settle into movie night in a way you never thought possible.
The MX HomePro app works with the URC MX HomePro system. The app requires the MX HomePro Smart Hub for operation. MX HomePro systems are installed and maintained by a network of trained systems integration professionals.
A unique “app launching” feature lets you launch any of eight other apps from a scrolling ribbon. Incorporate almost any app – including the native app for smart devices. You can even incorporate your favorite social media apps onto the scrolling ribbon for quick access.
For example, if you already have a security app to control your home security system, you can add that native app to the ribbon. This allows you to retain the exact user experience that the device manufacturer intended.
The MX HomePro app is virtually limitless. Just about any new compatible product that comes along can be added and controlled within the app. The app can be installed on an unlimited number of smart devices, so every family member has access without additional expense.
The MX HomePro mobile app devices works with the MX HomePro Smart Hub for easy, handheld control of electronic components in your home (audio/video and home entertainment plus devices such as lights, thermostats, security systems and more) to make life more enjoyable. This app is installed as part of a MX HomePro system by your smart home professional.

The worst - Avoid
This is the worst service ever. Just get a physical remote…unless you want to be frustrated just simply clicking right…DO NOT GET THIS!

Updated review: Don’t bother going the URC route. Installer required...and they are as flaky as you’d expect. Changes to your system? You need a “professional” installer. Do yourself a favor (if it’s not too late) and go with the Harmony Elite remotes. This system is stuck in 1983. Look at the update history. It’s a joke, and it was an experiment gone wrong. They originally designed this to be installed by the homeowner, but they realized that their help desk would be flooded with calls, so they made it a professional install (again, professional installers are basically between jobs). Old Review: If you have more than four activities set up on the home screen, you can’t scroll down to see them. Until that is fixed, I can’t recommend this system or the app. Also, no sleep/timer functionality. Hold off for a few releases. This will be updated once the app is.
