Last update broke the app
This is the second time they have pushed an update to force the login page. I don’t use informant sync services. But still every time I open the app, I have to click cancel. One extra step now, every time I want to look at the calendar. There is no option for “don’t ask me again”. At least I can cancel this time as the previous update the cancel button did not even work. Please fix or I’ll use a different calendar app. Update: 4 months since the last update and the login still has to be canceled every time the app is opened. This is very poor response on the developer to leave such a problem in production for this long.

Notes section
A design flaw that has been for years. When adding a “Note” to the calendar text is white a non configurable text on a light background. That’s only controlled by the Informant 5 system. All you visually impaired users just be warned. I don’t use Notes I’m not visually impaired it’s just hard for anyone. That’s why I gave 4 stars otherwise I’ve been a user for many years and love my informant 5 better than Apple calendar. Informant 5 it’s time to fix the text color on the Notes please!

I’ve enjoyed using this calendar for several years, until you decided to be greedy, and start charging for use of color coding events. Shame on you!

Travel Assist Ruins the app
I’ve been using this calendar app since 2010, and for many years it was perfect for me. I loved how I could see my to-dos and events together, and it supported me through my entire journey as a student and later in day-to-day life. But once I started traveling frequently, things changed. The app began automatically adjusting all my event times when I moved between time zones. As a result, I’ve missed important meetings and appointments because everything shifted without my permission. I reached out to support hoping there was a simple setting to turn this off, but I was told to “manually check and adjust the features Travel Assist modifies before and after travel.” That basically means going through and fixing every single event by hand for any trip I take. It’s really disappointing that after 15 years of relying on this app, I now have to start looking for a different calendar. This feels like such a simple fix the developers could implement, but they haven’t. I’m sad to leave, but I need a calendar I can trust, especially while traveling.

Nothing beats Informant
Been using this I had a blackberry pearl back in the 80’s (longtime user is an understatement) and cannot live without it. I “peak” at some of the other free calendar apps but nothing beats this (calendar styles, notes, project folders all inclusive in this calendar app). Keep up the good work.
