The app works a little better than the web interface, but has the same problems: 1) It loses the vnc connection when it goes into the background. 2) Instead of transparently re-establishing the connection when the app returns to foreground, it forces the user to select a button. 3) The ‘stay logged in’ option has no effect - you always get logged out quickly. Also instead of remembering which option - remote or local - was last used it defaults to local, so you have to select remote every time again you open the app. At least it remembers the log in credentials. ;) All in all a very amateurish app. I’d like to use the local connection option, but that appears to require a new version of the BHZ OS, and neither Brunner nor the company that installed the heating system provide support for their software. Probably the new feature requires a backport to the BHZ version I’m using and they won’t do that - but won’t say that openly either.
