Student safety and rapid communication with campus security is a top priority in an emergency situation. CIMCON's "Blue Light" emergency app lets students quickly connect with campus security simply by touching the “HELP” button.
Once selected, the “HELP” button does the following:
• Sends an Audio Alert and Route instructions for the student’s location to campus security staff mobile phones
• Activates nearby street lights to begin “blinking” to let people know that there is a potential emergency situation taking place.
• When campus security acknowledges the alert on their phone, a message is sent back to the student letting them know that "HELP" is on its way.
