It’s okay for quick reports
I have had this app on my phone for a few months now, I use it with Nexiq Blue Link 2 and a Cummins InLine mini. While it’s easy to set up, I sometimes have issues connecting to the adapter. Restarting the app appears to fix it. But my biggest complaint is no support for anything other than 9 pin trucks. Why release a new adapter (Blue-Link 2) with a 16 pin/OBD plug but not support anything on the 16 pin side? I searched the websites for help in this department but there is no support for this device or app. Every time I try to connect to Ford, GM, Isuzu, Hino, Mercedes Sprinter, or any Chrysler/Ram product it says no ECM detected. I work for a huge fleet company and this would be a beneficial tool for pulling fault/health reports during a PM but we have more than just 9 pin trucks here. Also to be noted, this app doesn’t allow bi-directional controls or tests and cannot clear faults. I hope they add light and medium duty support because then this app would be very helpful. Until then, I’ll have to keep break out the laptop and another adapter and use OEM software.
