Useful Data, Some App Suggestions
Shows real time bus locations in real time and arrival times are accurate and well integrated with my local transit agency. Uses agency GPS data instead of app users to calculate which may or may not be more reliable compared with competing Transit App depending on where you live. To the developers: I would recommend for future updates that Passio Go consider enabling direct linking to specific transit agencies though, as it is somewhat cumbersome finding yours; for instance, typing in FRTA does not bring up FRTA, so you have to type in “Franklin Regional Transit Authority” to find it. It would also be good if the service was slightly more tailored to partner agencies, for instance FRTA has a microtransit App for areas outside the fixed route services that could be linked to in Passio. Would definitely be nice if agencies could provide a QR code that would link directly to THEIR agency’s regional subpage either in-app or on web. Also where is Passio API? Open data seems to me a missed opportunity to advertise the app by offering Passio GO map data as an embeddable plugin for arrival time screens and transit agency websites, which could drive traffic to Passio GO. Agency specific link urls would help in this regard as well, which is not currently supported by the site’s javascript (or the mobile app). In the past API access was advertised on the website, but I don’t see any of that now.

horrible
i feel like most of these reviews are fake. the app barely works & crashes constantly. it's super out of date looking.
