Kid’s are constantly asking their parents for things. But instead of just saying yes or no, parents can create a challenge around the thing their kids are asking for. They’ll be able to access their challenges on their device and feel a sense of accomplishment when they receive their reward! Striide was designed to bring parents and children together in a way that incentivizes children and young adults to work for the things they want in life. It helps families escape the suffocation of the major social networks to come together and encourage one and other to accomplish goals and record them in a safe environment. It can also be used for teams and groups wherein a coach or mentor is trying to help and train others. The number of interactions between parents and children has diminished over the years because of digital devices. So we’ve decided to meet the kids where they are and create a fun way to interact with them more frequently. All you’ve got to do is setup the app on the phone of any of the family members you’d like to participate. It could be mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, kids, and grandkids. Then set specific challenges for kids based on some of the areas you’d like them to work on. For instance, it could be as difficult as “Do 200 pushups a day for 30 days” or as simple as “Say something nice to your mom once a day for the week.” The kid will be reminded to complete his challenges for the day, and if his completion rate is acceptable, then he will have earned a predetermined reward. All of this takes place inside of the app. When a child completes a challenge, the parents, guardian, or mentor will receive a push notification letting them know that their kid is accomplishing good things. Bam! The parents give the kid a “high five” to acknowledge them and that kid is excited to complete the next challenge.
