The SCWCEA conducts seminars and conferences to address issues relating to SC workers’ compensation which are on the horizon. Throughout the year, the SCWCEA holds the following meetings:
Our Medical Seminar held in the early spring with a focus on cutting edge medical issues, treatments and trends. Best practices and medical resources are always featured.
Our One Day Seminar is exactly what it says. This session is a one-day format held in the late spring or early summer with concentrated learning on the more important aspects of workers’ compensation.
Our Annual Educational Conference is held during the fall and has valuable sessions for every profession. Our general sessions on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday morning include a variety of topics and faculty that speak on current subjects. Monday afternoon, the various professionals break into specialized tracks for a more in depth focus on their particular needs.
Our Annual Workers’ Comp Academy is held on Monday of the Annual Conference. This program is geared toward individuals new to the workers’ compensation system as well as seasoned professionals who need a “refresher” in various general topics.
