Not live gps
GPS only updates “when there’s movement”, speed, buildings etc interfere. Goes a long time before updating even with movement. Messages for talk feature don’t go through every min as described. I’m hoping this gets bugs fixed bc I wanted to love this. It’s a great idea. Monthly fees have to be put on a credit card, not bank account or debit card, and cannot be started again after cancellation.

Peace of Mind
The simple small device this app supports is the perfect gadget for tracking and keeping in touch with my pre-teen. It’s been especially super handy for tracking and communicating on the ski slopes as well as through all her extracurricular activities. There are no screens, so we avoid the extra exposure to screen time. As for the app, itself - easy to set up and easy to use. It learned and established the home area in about 4 weeks of use. The app can send notifications on departure from the home area or any other specified location, like school. The UI shows current location and history of locations in addition to battery status. Notifies when device needs to be charged well before battery fully drains. Communication is seamless between device and iPhones. There’s not any significant delay between sending and receiving messages. Though it’s not real-time, it’s pretty instantaneous. Both her father and I can monitor and communicate through the device. It definitely sets our minds at ease to know where she is and to have the ability to communicate with our little one in case of emergencies. It’s been a real value add securing our peace of mind.
