It’s fine
Lots of content, but it definitely emphasizes watching/listening. I get it - watching and listening is what public broadcasting is all about. BUT - interfacing with an app is a visual/reading experience. I would use the app more if the layout and design was more magazine-like so that the reading experience was also enjoyable.

Functional and reliable
I use the app most of the time, except when driving. When I’m traveling, I can always get local news. Only small issue: on the iPhone it cuts out every few minutes for a few seconds, then picks up again. Maybe it’s caused by a problem with our WiFi or the phone… ?
