This application assists farmers distribute fertilisers evenly in a field. It takes the recommended rate of fertiliser rate per hectare and works out the linear distance that given volume of fertiliser must cover. The calculator will work regardless of the size of container used to distribute the fertiliser. This calculator is also useful when calibrating the dispensing flow rate of equipment such as a knapsack fertiliser applicator.
