IGARSS (the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium) is the flagship conference of the Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society. It is held annually in locations selected according a three-year cycle in the Americas, Europe or Africa, Asia or Australia.
Past IGARSS have been held in locations such as Honolulu (2010), Vancouver (2011), Munich (2012), Melbourne (2013), Quebec City (2014), Milan (2015), Beijing (2016), Fort Worth (2017). Future locations include Valencia (2018), Kyoto (2019), Big Island (2020) and Brussels (2021).
