How does the Clever Dialer iOS app work?
Based on the ratings and experiences of all Clever Dialer users, spam data is collected via various channels. Users can turn to our websites for information, but also to report spam calls. The data from this source is being aggregated and evaluated, and it is the cornerstone of our spam detection. The Clever Dialer iOS app fetches updates from our servers several times a day.

How does the update of the spam database work?
Due to the nature of iOS the Clever Dialer app must run either in the foreground or in the background for it to be able to update the database. The app sends a notification, reminding you that you should open it to receive an update. When the app is being opened, it immediately updates the database if the phone is connected to the internet. You can also start an update manually by clicking on the update button on the start screen.

Clever Dialer is a service that provides spam protection on various platforms. Also, there are websites for several countries.

Clever Dialer PRO
Clever Dialer PRO spam protection is available as a subscription or one-time payment. The monthly subscription automatically renews every month, the annual subscription automatically renews every year. The payment will be charged to the iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours to the end of the current period. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable.
