About Frame Rate
Calculate the storage needed for your DVR or calculate the amount of footage time your DVR will hold.
This easy to use tool calculates the estimated video storage needed based on different codecs, qualities, resolutions, frames per second, motion percentage, quantity of cameras, and the amount of time to hold onto data measured in days. You can also calculate the amount of time in days or even years a system will archive before the oldest data is overwritten.
Currently uses the following codecs:
-H.264
-H.265 (full version only)
-MPEG4
-MJPEG

-352x240 (1CIF)
-704x240 (2CIF)
-704x480 (4CIF)
-1280x720 (720p)
-1280x1024 (1.3MP)

Simply but clever
Love this app. For me been able to calculate the fps, codec and video quality to determine the amount of storage needed on a security camera recorder it's very important. I am surprised that it's free, many thanks to the developer!
