About 1600 AR
Built through a collaboration with the White House Historical Association and Nexus Studios, the app’s aim is to educate and inspire the youngest Americans to learn more about the White House's role in our democracy. Our hope is that whether it is experienced on a teacher's desk or dining room table, kids walk away from "1600" with a better sense of the institution and its purpose. Not to mention, a smile.
Tip: Move your phone around to explore from different angles, and touch the Oval Office to reveal a surprise.

We “Google It” a little less.
The last few years has made me realize how little I know. The kids ask questions about why political choices made & more often than not my answer is let’s Google it. This app has given us the opportunity to learn a lot about how our government works. The best part is we all learn new things and we learn together. The kids have controlled the amount of time spent on this app. It’s at least 4 nights of “Family Time” per week. I’m grateful that people took the time to create something that can give my family a chance to come & learn together. Knowledge is powerful. We understand what’s happening a little more. We Google it a little less.
