HOW DOES IT WORK:
First provide some car data:
- manufacturer & car model
- power
- weight & weight distribution
- drivetrain
- chassis reinforcement
- transmission
- tire compound
- tire width (front and rear)
- installed aero kits
Then choose whether it should be a general purpose tune suited for multiplayer lobby racing or track specific tune ideally suited for rival races.
Further tuning options allow for custom tuning of track conditions, temperature conditions, overall balance, tire pressure, anti-roll bars, springs and dampers, ride height, brake balance, differential, transmission and aero.
Based on the provided data a tune is calculated. ARBs and spring rates are provided with 3 fraction digit precision, set the in-game values to nearest value.
Advanced tune settings allow you further adjust tune balance and the stiffness.

Brilliant software - incredible supporting info
This is the single best companion application I’ve ever used, for any game, bar none. The immense time, passion, and rigor that was put into developing both this calculator tool and the guides and information is obvious and exceptional. The QuickTune website is like getting a PhD in Forza tuning. The app includes an excellent summarization of the key ideas/info in the “more info” sections in each menu item of the calculator. The recommended tunes this thing produces are fantastic. I’m not an especially great driver - and I’ve set numerous top 1% lap times straight out of the box while setting a baseline time for fine tuning. Using everything you are able to learn from the free tutorial materials rewards you with even further fine tuning possibilities. (I always end up tinkering a bit.) and the overall handling sliders work perfectly if you are in a rush and don’t want to get int the weeds. The upgrade/build aspect of QT7 is unrivaled - knowing and exploiting the underlying limitations and mechanics of the Forza physics engine unlocks an unbeatable build strategy, well outlined and integrated into the app. Interface, functionality, ease of use, settings…All around perfect.
