This app is like having an infinite set of flashcards for algebra problems. It helps students practice algebra skills with instant feedback. Four tasks are currently available:
- finding the slope of a line given two points that it passes through;
- solving a linear system given two linear equations, one in slope-intercept form and one in standard form;
- recognizing whether two lines are parallel, perpendicular, or neither; and
- determining the slope-intercept form of a line given its slope in decimal form and a point that it passes through.
While this app includes brief summaries of how to accomplish each task, it is not intended as an instructional app for students to learn how to do the tasks. It is intended as a way for students to practice the skills they have learned elsewhere in a way that gives them immediate feedback, much like flashcards.
