About RCSection

RC Section is an essential tool for engineers and students in order to facilitate the practical use of the Eurocode 2, Part 1. This helps to share and practice correctly modern design methods such as the Eurocodes. All calculations are based on Eurocode 2 Part 1 recommendations.
There are included:

⋅ Concrete properties, calculation mean value of concrete compressive strength at an age (t) days, fcm(t).
⋅ Steel properties, calculation the stress in reinforcing steel σs, depending on its strain
⋅ Calculations for Durability: Structural Class and Nominal concrete cover Cnom, following Eurocode recomendations.
Bending calculation
⋅ Calculation of longitudinal reinforcement of a rectangular and T-i shape sections in bending at the ULS, Asc and As.
⋅ Calculation of longitudinal reinforcement of a rectangular and T-i shape sections in bending at the ULS, Asc and As.
Shear resistance
⋅ Design value for shear resistance for members not requiring design shear reinforcement, VRd,c.
⋅ Design value for shear resistance of members with vertical shear reinforcement, VRd.
⋅ Design value for shear resistance of members with inclined shear reinforcement, VRd.
Design of structural concrete members for axial force and biaxial moments for rectangular and circular sections.
