Aggressively promotes ABA
While ABA can help autistic people mask traits seen as negative it also leaves them with lasting trauma and its harmful to promote it as wholly good. There are other services that can help autistic people understand ourselves and overcome our troubles rather than forcing us to be “normal” Here are several links on harmful effects of ABA: (PDF) Why caregivers discontinue applied behavior analysis (ABA) and choose communication-based autism interventions (PDF) ABA Paper IJCP (PDF) Long-term ABA Therapy Is Abusive: A Response to Gorycki, Ruppel, and Zane I encourage you to read more and listen to autistic people and our experiences.
