BMES Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society, the lead society for the field with over 7,000 members, brings together academic leaders, trainees and industry for over three days of focused but exhilarating discussions and presentations of the newest ideas, discoveries and products in this booming field. The meeting attracts participants from all over the world representing many disciplines: practicing engineers from biomedical, electrical, chemical, mechanical, and other engineering fields; life scientists; as well as medical specialists. The diverse program will include over 160 platform sessions, about 30 special sessions and more than 2,500 poster presentations, covering the diverse scope of biomedical engineering and bioengineering research, including: cardiovascular engineering, respiratory engineering, orthopedic & rehab engineering, neural engineering, cellular and molecular engineering, tissue engineering and biomaterials, bioinformatics and systems biology, device technologies, biomedical imaging and optics, biomedical engineering education, biomedical robotics as well as new frontiers and special topics.
