This app pads and expands photos to Instagram's supported aspect ratio, so they won't be cropped when sharing. Instagram allowed only square photos at first. Then in August 2015, they started allowing non-square photos. The aspect ratio can be between 1.91:1 (landscape) and 4:5 (portrait). Beyond that, photos will be cropped to fit the supported aspect ratio, or use this app to pad photos for sharing in full size. You can still pad to square if desired.
This app also supports Instagram Stories, with the aspect ratio 9:16.
Choose from different padding styles: with a solid color, with the very edges of the photo spreading outwards, or with the mirror image or the blurred image of the photo.
Align to left, right or center (or top, bottom or middle), or freely move to any alignment within the frame.
