Paid subscription
Frustrating to have this app come with the tool (around $200) then later turn around and strip it from users and make it a paid subscription. Understood there is a free remote app now, but not happy.

Broken Promises and Paywalls
I originally purchased the Slacker tool with the understanding that it was a one-time purchase, only to find out now they’re moving key features behind a new paywall. It feels like a bait-and-switch — I supported the app early, but now I’m being asked to pay again for something I already bought. Disappointing move that breaks trust with users. I’ll be looking for alternatives that respect their customers more.
