About TfL Pay to Drive in London
To improve air quality, an Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) will be in place in central London from 8 April 2019. This will cover the same area as the Congestion Charge zone.
With the Pay to drive in London app you will be able to:
- Pay for Congestion Charge, ULEZ, and LEZ charges
- Pay for previous day, today, or tomorrow charges
- Pay Penalty Charge Notices
- View map of zones and check if a postcode is in a charging area
- Sign up to Auto Pay and save on the daily Congestion Charge
- Manage your account, vehicles, and payment details
- Review payment history

Still some work to do
For some reason it’s still clunky finding your actual charge history. If you need to know what days/times you were charged congestion, it’s hidden within the auto-pay section and does not show you the full receipt with image like it does on web. It also only shows activity since last statement for some reason. Makes it very impractical for those who need to access this information regularly.
