About Screen Label
You might want to show some contact details, then if you lose your phone your chances of getting it back go way up. Or a company name, or department name... anything.
On iOS 16 and later you can use the Lock Screen widget to add a short message visible on all Lock Screens. For earlier iOS versions you can import any photo in your camera roll, then style and position your message label on top of it. This is saved back to the camera roll as a new picture, and then you can use it as Wallpaper.
You can use a plain background rather than a photo if you prefer.

Widget is fail
The app is simple enough to take your default background and add text to the image and save. That use case works. The Lock Screen widget fails its most important use case. Once you fill in the info and place the widget on the lock screen, it shows when locking the phone. BUT if you _restart_ the phone the widget does not display any info _until_ the phone is unlocked. This makes it broken. If my phone is lost and runs out of charge, then the widget won’t help anyone who finds/recharges the phone. Or if my phone is taken and turned off, if recovered and turned on then the widget won’t help get it returned to me. So only decent use for this app is as an image editor. 5 stars for simple image edit 1 star as a Lock Screen widget

Widget Unmovable
After placing the text widget on lock screen it remains unmovable and sizing handles never appear.
