Gear for Need is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network throughout the world, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. The Mission of the Gear for Need is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized and even prevented and thus contribute to creating more congenial climate for peace.
Fund managers are the non-profit organizations.... They are the backbone of all Gear For Need activities, helping branches to run successful programs and assisting millions of vulnerable people in need. GFN recruits Fund managers irrespective of their race, ethnicity, sex, religious belief, age, and disability or membership. Volunteering is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial or social gain "to benefit another person, group or organization".
A donor in general is a person, organization or government which donates something voluntarily. The term is usually used to represent a form of pure altruism, but is sometimes used when the payment for a service is recognized by all parties as representing less than the value of the donation and that the motivation is altruistic. In business law a donor is someone who is giving the gift (law) and a done the person receiving the gift
