Fantastic for Privacy
Sure you can run a pi-hole and make it externally accessible. You can run an always on VPN to your home network and go through that song and dance. I used to until I came across NextDNS. I’ve been using it for a few years now and couldn’t be happier. Easy to set up and maintain. Works on anything I want to set it up for and even helps me find out what apps are being honest about data collection and what ones aren’t. It is really, really fantastic at saving your cellular data when traveling abroad. Recommend to anyone who’s conscious about privacy and doesn’t mind taking a few minutes to set it up.
