About Vividbooks Physics

The Vividbooks library of science content combines paper worksheets, a pencil and the latest technology. With the help of interactive animations, teachers can present even complex science topics in a comprehensive and entertaining way.

Click on the "Free lessons" tab and select one of the chapters and lessons that are freely available. We selected chapters from all books that have been completed so far (book of Liquids and Gases, Optics and Energy, Physics for the 7th and 8th grades of primary schools).

Each chapter contains one or more free lessons. Each lesson contains an animation, an easy-to-read text that describes the material and questions for reflection and discussion (these can be found by clicking on the symbol "i" - information in the upper right corner of each lesson).

Animations have been created in various forms. Some show the physical phenomenon in a loop, others can be controlled using black dots next to the image (by clicking or dragging your finger) and some allow you to switch between animations using arrows. You can also see the animation through augmented reality (AR).

To use Vividbooks, simply print a worksheet (one in each lesson or all together by clicking the “Get Worksheets” button in the chapter list), preferably in size A5, swipe the “Drag to Explore” button, and point your device at the black-and-white image on the paper worksheet (be sure to open the relevant book in the application).

The Vividbooks app then brings the drawing to life with an interactive animation that appears on your device’s screen. After watching the animation and reading the text, you may draw whatever you’ve learned into the worksheet (in order to maintain the correct functionality of the AR, it is necessary to choose not very dominant color markers, the sheet must not be crumpled or bent).

In order to memorize and understand the entire topic at hand, there are questions included in each lesson that support creative thinking and encourage active discussion in the classroom (you can find them by clicking on the symbol "i" in the upper right corner of the lesson). You may also write down the answers to these questions in the worksheet.

If you do not have a device that is compatible with the Vividbooks application, you can view our textbooks on our website www.app.vividbooks.com (which you can use to view our content on a computer or an interactive whiteboard).

We would love to hear your feedback. Whether you have positive or negative comments about the Vividbooks application or its content, send them to us at feedback@vividbooks.com
