About Chicago DCASE for ALL

The Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events (DCASE) is dedicated to enriching Chicago’s artistic vitality and cultural vibrancy. This includes fostering the development of Chicago’s non-profit arts sector, independent working artists and for-profit arts businesses; providing a framework to guide the City’s future cultural and economic growth, via the 2012 Chicago Cultural Plan; marketing the City’s cultural assets to a worldwide audience; and presenting high-quality, free and affordable cultural programs for residents and visitors.

DCASE values diversity, equity, access, creativity, advocacy, collaboration and celebration & we invite you to join us at our varied events or with a visit to the Chicago Cultural Center, Millennium Park and Clarke House Museum.

DCASE For ALL was developed to help families, especially those with disabilities or young children, prepare for a day at a Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events venue or event. In the app, you can learn about the spaces, create your own schedule for the day, play a matching game, and check out features like the sensory friendly map and insider tips.
