The WVIA Public Media App allows you to enjoy the services of WVIA TV (PBS) and WVIA Radio (NPR). Listen and watch your favorite shows/clips anywhere you want to. You can also pause and rewind live audio, and view radio and TV program schedules! You can explore, watch and listen to On Demand stories whenever you want, share stories with your friends!
Live Radio Streaming:
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WVIA Radio even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing.
• Integrated program schedules for WVIA Radio streams!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to WVIA Radio in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!

I stream WVIA in my ear bud with my morning activities every day. But their local news coverage has become my go to for what’s developing in NEPA. I also love their local interest features. WVIA has assembled a great reporting crew from the demise of the Scranton Times. GREAT JOB and keep up the good work! I’m listening and reading!

Where is alarm clock feature?
I am an everyday listener to WVIA. I recently heard that l could get the WVIA App and wake up to the station. However that feature is no longer on the App. Disappointed Supporter
