Striver has been created with a sole purpose: To improve primary aged pupils’ (5-11) long-term physical and mental wellbeing. We do that by ensuring children of all abilities feel motivated and engaged, and teachers of all experience levels feel confident and in control. It is the only PE scheme of work that includes health and wellbeing lessons.
Over 250 PE lessons, supported by six wellbeing units, all housed in a web-platform that minimises the time required for admin, without cutting any corners.
Striver makes PE accessible to teachers from all backgrounds. Simple lesson plans include images, diagrams and videos to guide instructors every step of the way.
One-touch assessment makes progress tracking quick and easy. Striver includes an app that works off-line so you can access lesson plans and do assessment on the move.
Our lessons focus on developing the underlying key skills that make up all sports, things like using movement to create space and controlling objects with your hands or feet. Breaking sports down into key skills creates more opportunity for children to experience improvement. It also means children will feel confident to try out new sports independently.
Each unit starts and ends with a unique Skill Development Activity and children's individual scores are recorded, giving a clear indication of their progress over time.
Striver’s purpose and functionality meet the requirements of the Sports Premium Fund as it gives teachers the confidence and resources to teach PE and develop PE and wellbeing throughout the school.
Striver's calendar function allows you to assign units to different classes and groups. Once assigned, the teachers have all the information they need to deliver outstanding PE lessons and you can see exactly who is teaching what throughout the year.
Data from every teacher is synced together online, so you can generate powerful whole-school reports whenever you need them.
