Can’t Reset Password
This is probably one of the worst apps I’ve used. You literally can’t even reset your password on the app. It pops up with a blank error box and gives you the option to cancel or confirm.
Old version was better
I used to be able to see the amount of power each panel was producing, now I can’t find anywhere on the app that shows that. I had a panel malfunction and wasn’t producing any power. I was able to catch it because of the ability to monitor each panel in the old app. Now I guess I just have to hope that nothing goes wrong? Please address this.
Don’t recommend
The app is not user friendly and hard to use. My solar was down for almost two weeks and it didn’t alert me. My husband has an android and his app is different. It’s a little better but not much. If there was another app option, I would gladly take it.
Trashy app
App don’t stop crashing. You can’t even login to it. It has been a while with this crash issue and no solution has been provided.
Completely USELESS
Every time I tap on the icon and bring up the app, it closes itself and disappears.
App won’t let me log in
It shuts down before I can even log in!
Useless
I was excited to use the NEP viewer app, so that I could see our solar production, but it has been nothing but a disappointment.
The app is supposed to monitor my solar system’s performance, but the data is either delayed or completely inaccurate.
Customer support is practically non-existent. I’ve sent multiple requests for help.
May 2024 and Still an almost worthless app!!
It's been over 5 months since your Team destroyed your app! Your version 3 was a perfectly fine app! Now you're on Version 5.* and its still garbage! I don't even use it, getting more useful information on YOUR system from my local electric company!!
Panel Performance View
It’s been over a year (1-2-23) since I’ve been able to view how each panel is performing. Without that view, how would I ever know when a microinverter needs replacing? Please add that view back into the NEP app.
Always Crashes
The new version crashes on me daily and I have to delete and redownload and sign back in. Sometimes this happens multiple times a day.
Not very good advertising when I’m trying to show friends how my new solar panels are working and how i can see how much electricity they are producing .
