With Dartalyzer™ you can optimize your motion sequences during darts.
TRAFFIC LIGHT SYSTEM
With Dartalyzer, you get direct feedback on the throw with a traffic light system during training and can thus improve the throwing style. The following training types can be executed:
- Throw constancy (throw strength)
- Arm angle
- Vertical acceleration (stand stability)
- Movement extent
- Mediolateral acceleration (lateral acceleration of the throwing motion)
- Upper arm stability
- Shoulder stability
TRAINING OVERVIEW
All training results are shown in an overview table. The average values and standard deviation are displayed for each training type. In addition, the average times between the first and second throw and between the second and third throw are calculated.
GRAPHICAL VIEW
In the graphical view, the acceleration values and the angles can be displayed in an X-Y diagram. Several throws can be displayed on top of each other so that differences between the individual throws can be quickly recognised.
Currently three types of diagrams are supported:
- Lateral deviation
- Forearm angle
- Upper arm angle (and optionally the angle of the forearm)
In the basic version, a maximum of 3 throws can be displayed simultaneously and overlapping. In the premium version, 10, 20 or all throws of a training can be displayed simultaneously.
GRAPHICAL VIEW OF COMPLETED TRAININGS (Premium version required)
For the trainings recorded since V1.3, the acceleration values or the angles can be subsequently displayed in an X-Y diagram. The smallest and the largest angle at the beginning of the forward movement and the follow-through movement are displayed.
5D DARTSCREEN (Premium Version required)
Visualize and improve the different parameters which are decisive for an optimal throw according to the 5D-Dartscreen:
- Throw constancy (throw strength)
- Vertical acceleration (stand stability)
- Movement extent
- Mediolateral acceleration (lateral acceleration of the throwing motion)
- Upper arm stability

Compare the average values per training type of the current month with the values of the previous month.

Let Dartalyzer run in the background and analyze the individual rolls of an entire game afterwards.
IMPORTANT NOTES
1) Dartalyzer requires either an Apple Watch or at least one MetaMotionR accelerometer from mbientLabs. These can be obtained from www.mbientlab.com.
2) So that the Apple Watch can read the acceleration data even when the screen is not active, the training is started via the Health Kit. The Dartalyzer App neither reads information from the Health Kit nor sends Health Kit data to the Dartaylzer server.
3) Dartalyzer is based on the method "5D-Dartscreen" from the book "Darts-Sport" by Harald Jansenberger from Hofman-Verlag.
