Excellent App, Lots of Opportunities
I have been using the app for a couple of years now. I used to mainly focus on app/website reviews through the iOS app, but I realized I don’t qualify for as many of those, also, there are more opportunities on the web version. Of the hundreds of app and website reviews I’ve done, I’ve had maybe 3 tests glitch out on me to where they had issues uploading, or the app just became unresponsive. I made sure to take screenshots, provide the Test ID, and explain in detail my issue to support - within 1-2 days, they have had it resolved (compensating me for the test every time). When I first started using the app, payouts only took 7 days from the time of completion. Awhile back they changed the payouts to 14 days which can be inconvenient. However, once I got into the swing of things and became consistent, I started spending a few hours doing 5-7 tests each day, and now I get a $50, $60 or $70 deposit every day which is nice extra cash! Overall, UserTesting is best on the website (if you have a mic and webcam), but the iOS app is an alright alternative - just not as many opportunities. The $60, $90 and $120 live tests are fun, I’ve liked every moderator I’ve worked with so far - the time flies by on those ones! I’ve learned consistency is best to keep getting more opportunities, having a set time I sit down to work on tests makes it easy and part of my daily routine now. Customer Support has been great the few times I’ve needed their assistance. I’m not sure why their rating has dropped so low recently (2.6/5.0 stars right now on the App Store), in my personal experience, this is my favorite service considering the number of tests I get. There are others that pay much faster, but their opportunities are few and far between.

I have been using UserTesting for about 3 years now and have earned a nice amount to throw into my savings. Opportunities refresh pretty frequently throughout the day. 4 stars because the app has become glitchy. I’ll be approved for a test and before it starts the app shuts down

!CUSTOMERS BEAWARE!
This about should be banned immediately from Apple Store! Only gave this app a 5 star rating to be sure everyone can see this! This apps take your data and make the test glitch or not record responses properly because the way want you to fail to steal your data. After you fail twice because they only give you two attempts at the test “lol” then you can’t apply no more after that, after they already took your personal data information and I hate flaw apps and companies like this that’s why they have the rating that they do now.

Why Did The App Disappear?
I was prompted by an email to do a survey and they said I needed to get this app. I downloaded and installed it. The survey then said I needed to “screen share” and it would only be for in-app questions and tracking. But, once I was apparently done with the survey the app just disappeared! POOF! That seems VERY SUSPICIOUS! What’s up? Oh ok, I noticed I still have the app. But it auto closed on me. That was weird!

A broken and poorly designed app
For a product that is supposed to help companies create better products, this app is in a very sorry state. Maybe they should do their own user research… You would think they’d try to fix it given their App Store rating is 2.6/5. Also the app is totally broken. Trying to log in puts you into an unending loop of putting in your email, then your password, then your email, etc. Just to be clear, the email and password work on the web version. After a few rounds of this, it will let you in and then immediately kick you out. This app is just fully broken. Also beware that the default is to send you 5-10 emails a day. A lot of fake reviews from the UserTesting team that say, “Great way to make money!” or “Interview with the largest companies!” I work at a large company that uses UserTesting, we are actively trying to find alternatives because it is so bad.

Horrifyingly slow lately
It shouldn’t take 20 seconds between screeners to record responses. The web app works fine on a pc. Please fix the speed of the iOS app. Please also separate surveys to a different section of the app.

I’ve earned money, but haven’t gotten paid. App is glitchy
The app itself can be really glitchy. There have been multiple instances where I qualify for a test and it won’t let me continue due to a glitch or it telling me I need to turn my location services on but they are on and it softlocks me and won’t let me continue no matter what I try. Even on computer, it’s really glitchy sometimes. Good opportunities that refresh almost daily, but I haven’t been paid for what I’ve done.

they are taking WAYYYY too long to solve this payal issue of mines it’s been going on for longer than a couple of days now it’s as if the support team doesn’t really want to do their job this issue i’m pretty sure could have BEEN handled instead they are taking they’re sweet time it’s as if they’re not even really trying to fix it they’re support team is very irritating and i have been patient for a couple of days but sorry not sorry they move like snails when it comes to assisting testers this is starting to become a real issue🤦🏽‍♂️😐😒

Am I the only one?
I wouldn’t know how good/bad the actual app/program is because I haven’t gotten a chance to participate. PayPal says my account IS verified. UserTesting keeps giving me the same message saying it isn’t verified(which isn’t true). Customer service for this app is awful, I’m sure it’s all Ai. I keep showing them the proof of my verified PayPal account, but I keep getting the same cookie cutter response which looks like the same message they send everyone who asks for “support” from them. So I’m stuck! Wondering if this is just a scam?
