It doesn’t work
Despite the advertising, Danby has not actually furnished a functioning smart AC unit. This is because there is no support on the back end. This app has been abandoned. The instructions on the app do not align with the nature of Danny’s products (calling for a reset button when there is none on my model). Even when working through the counter-intuitive process, it still doesn’t work and I get a fail notification.

Portable air conditioner will not connect. I ended up using the Midea app which actually worked and allowed me to connect.
