Great — Until It Wasn’t
We were happy Mercury customers for four years. The UX is excellent, the setup is simple, and everything works well — until the moment you actually need support. Five days ago our account was restricted and all cards were blocked. No explanation. No email. No compliance request. No guidance. We have contacted Mercury more than 10 times via email, phone, and chat. Zero response. Freezing a business account without communication is not just inconvenient — it’s operationally dangerous. This experience made it very clear: fintech convenience is great, but when something goes wrong, you need a real bank with real accountability. We are closing our accounts and moving to a more established institution. I would not recommend relying on Mercury for serious business operations.
