MaskFit AR is a disgraceful cash grab that provides zero value to consumers and engages in outright deceptive practices. The app promises to scan your face and help you find a well-fitted mask, but here’s the truth: it harvests your biometric data under a vague and misleading privacy policy while demanding extensive personal information upfront. After collecting your sensitive data, the app refuses to show any results unless you pay a $10 fee just to view the results—results that should have been disclosed prior to payment. This paywall is not disclosed clearly beforehand, making the entire process feel like a bait-and-switch scam. It’s misleading, predatory, and seems more focused on profiting from personal data collection rather than actually providing a functional service. Apps like this should not be allowed on the App Store. Apple needs to take action and remove MaskFit AR immediately to protect consumers from data exploitation and financial scams.
