In cities which joined SumaMachi platform, residents can use 'SumaMachi Area' app to receive information from their Local Government officials, respond and comment.

Users of this app can access 2 primary features:
- Area Inbox: messages, questionnaires, events and reminders are received here. Respond to messages, reply to questionnaires directly from the inbox.
- Area Calendar: received event invitations and reminders are displayed here. Send RSVP confirmation to event organizers from the event detail page.
