About Ability Fix - Water Exercise

Your Fitness Level is Not like ANYone else’s so why should your water exercise workout be like theirs?

Your personal fitness/mobility level should determine what degree of difficulty your exercises should be. All the exercises and workouts in this app are presented in 5 different levels. We call these our Ability Levels (AL). AL 1 is adaptive exercise for mobility challenged individuals; AL 5 is high intensity exercise for highly fit individuals. The Ability Levels in between are gradients thereof. If you can get into a pool we’ve got the right workout for you.

This free version allows full access for the first 2 weeks, then if you don't subscribe you will not be able to play full workouts or cast. You can continue to use the app without these features for life.

Our approach to this fitness app is different in several ways.

1. The exercises in our app are created for your fitness/mobility level. We’ve taken the muscular benefits of an exercise and broken it down so that each fitness level can do and benefit from the exercise at their level. Thus there is no guesswork on exactly how to do the exercise correctly at your fitness level.
2. Our exercises are designed much like a music app. Exercises are recorded as individual components that can be queued up into a workout in a way that makes sense to you, similar to a music playlist of your favorite songs. This gives you an unlimited combination of exercises to put into your workout.
3. We’ve pre-designed many workouts for you to get started with or for a randomized approach we’ve included a Plan It For Me feature to help you change up your workout as often as you like.
4. Take full control and design a workout specifically for your needs or create one for people you care about.
5. Instructional videos are available for every exercise. We use a metronome to show you at what pace each exercise should be done to maximize its efficiency for your level in water.
6. Cues are designed to be heard. Don’t worry about not being able to see the exercise as it’s being done. All of our verbal cues are designed to be heard and not necessarily watched. We feel that it’s tough to be in the water and watch the workout on your device so we’ve spoken the cues in such a way as to make it easy for you to follow along. Just listen and follow along as an Aqua Pro guides you through each exercise on your bluetooth speaker or waterproof headset. Of course, if you’ve got a screen at your pool and want to cast to it, feel free to do that.
7. Community built in. Schedule your workout and be reminded when it’s time. Share your workout routines with your friends, family, or Ability Fix community. Invite them to exercise with you. See how your friends are doing. Discuss your progress, or lack thereof, in our forum.
8. Caregiver friendly. If you’re a caregiver to a client or ailing family member you can create, or find, a workout for someone who might be technologically challenged and follow their progress. For instance, if you’re a healthcare professional and want to create follow up exercise routines, you can do so and easily share them via email. Members are then able to track their compliance, if they wish.
